How to pay for the climate transition, affordable housing, and public investment?

New research shows the way

This public talk illuminates an underused opportunity to advance a just climate transition, affordable housing, and public investment. Commercial banks have unique legal vulnerabilities that past social and political movements have exploited to channel funding into social purposes in massive quantities. This talk by Sam Hummel, a visiting researcher from the United States, is sure to provoke new thinking and productive conversation. The general public are encouraged to attend. No prior experience with banking, finance, economics, or law required.
